The generator snaps modules to whole units and sets shape-rendering="crispEdges", so browsers and RIPs don't anti-alias the edges into grey fuzz. If your print shop asks for PDF instead, choose the label-sheet PDF output or place the SVGs in your layout tool and export from there.
Questions people ask
Why use SVG for QR codes?
SVG is vector: the code stays razor sharp at any size, from a sticker to a banner, and files are tiny. Printers, Illustrator, Figma, InDesign and Affinity all accept it.
Are the SVG files editable?
Yes. Each file is clean SVG with one path for the modules, an optional background rectangle and optional caption text. Change colours in any vector editor.
Can I get a transparent background?
Tick "Transparent background" in step 2. The file then has no background rectangle, which is ideal for placing on coloured artwork — as long as the artwork is light enough to keep contrast.
Can I get PNG and SVG together?
Choose "ZIP with PNG + SVG" and the ZIP contains a png/ and an svg/ folder with matching file names.
