BulkQR.codes is designed with privacy as a core principle:

• No Server Processing: All QR code and barcode generation happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your CSV files and generated codes never leave your device.
• No Account Required: We don't require signups, logins, or user accounts. You can use the tool completely anonymously.
• No Data Storage: We do not store, log, or transmit any of your CSV data, generated codes, or file contents to our servers.
• No Tracking: We do not use third-party tracking scripts or analytics that collect personal information.

Local Storage

The only data stored locally on your device includes:

• Generation History (Optional): If you choose to save your generation history, this data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• User Preferences: Settings like default code size, colors, and format preferences may be stored in your browser's local storage for convenience.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or using the "Clear History" feature in the application.

How The Tool Works

To help you understand our privacy-first approach:

1. You upload a CSV or Excel file in your browser
2. JavaScript running in your browser parses the file
3. QR codes/barcodes are generated using client-side libraries
4. Generated images are created in your browser's memory
5. You download the results directly from your browser

At no point does your data touch our servers.

Cookies and Analytics

We use minimal analytics to understand general usage patterns:

• Vercel Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous page view statistics. This does not track individual users or collect personal data.
• No Advertising Cookies: We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The application uses the following third-party libraries, all running client-side in your browser:

• qrcode: Open-source library for QR code generation
• jsbarcode: Open-source library for barcode generation
• PapaParse: Open-source CSV parsing library
• xlsx: Open-source Excel file parsing library
• JSZip: Open-source ZIP file creation library

None of these libraries transmit your data to external servers.

Data Security

Since all processing happens in your browser:

• Your data is as secure as your device and browser
• We recommend using HTTPS (which we enforce) for all connections
• Generated codes exist only in your browser until you download them
• Once you close the browser tab, any temporary data is cleared

Your Rights

Because we don't collect or store your personal data:

• There is no data to access, modify, or delete on our end
• You have complete control over any locally stored data through your browser
• You can use the tool without providing any personal information

Children's Privacy

Our service does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the tool can be safely used by anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
